- It is a retinoid serum. AlphaRet combines a retinoid with lactic acid; the formula also includes salicylic acid.
- The evening is its place. Morning sunscreen remains essential to the routine.
- Clearer-looking skin is a cosmetic goal. Persistent or painful acne may need a separate medical assessment.
- More exfoliation is not automatically better. Review acids, scrubs and other retinoids before combining them.

How to use Skinbetter Science AlphaRet Clearing Serum
- At night, apply 1 to 2 pumps to the cleansed face, avoiding the eye area.

- Use sunscreen and sun-protective measures during the day. Stop and seek advice if irritation persists.
This product contains a retinoid and exfoliating acids. Do not use during pregnancy; if breastfeeding or planning pregnancy, ask your physician about suitable alternatives. Avoid layering with another retinoid or multiple exfoliants without professional guidance.

How is Clearing Serum different from AlphaRet Overnight Cream?
Clearing Serum is directed at oilier, blemish-prone skin and includes salicylic acid. Overnight Cream is a separate formula for visible aging, tone and texture. We can help you choose one starting point.
Is it only a spot treatment?
No. The supplier directs application across the face, avoiding the eye area. Follow the label and any individual instructions you receive.
Can I use it with a prescription acne treatment?
Check the combination with your prescribing clinician first. Bring the product names to your routine review so you do not accidentally overlap retinoids or exfoliating treatments.
Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?
It contains a retinoid. Avoid it during pregnancy and ask your physician about suitable skincare if breastfeeding or planning pregnancy.
Should I expect peeling to prove it is working?
