Shiny skin can still feel tight after cleansing. SkinCeuticals Daily Moisture is a lightweight moisturizer for normal to oily skin that adds hydration while helping pores look less noticeable.
The 60 mL cream combines vitamin E, algae extracts and a botanical blend in a texture designed to leave skin soft without a greasy finish. It is worth considering if you want a straightforward moisturizer to sit between your serums and sunscreen, or to finish an evening routine without a rich, heavy layer.
A few helpful things to know about this product:
- Oil and hydration are different: You can have visible shine and still need moisture. Skipping moisturizer is not automatically the answer to oily skin.
- Pores can look more refined: Daily Moisture is designed to improve their appearance. Pores are a normal part of skin and cannot be permanently closed with a cream.
- Use your skin’s comfort as a guide: If your skin still feels tight or flaky, a richer moisturizer may be more suitable. If it feels coated, tell us about the layers underneath.
- Keep it simple around active products: A comfortable moisturizer can help you maintain a consistent routine. It does not cancel out irritation from too many acids or retinoids.
Notable skin care ingredients:
Algae extracts: A blend of red and brown algae extracts contributes hydration and skin conditioning.
Botanical extracts: Burnet, cinnamon, ginger, horsetail, thyme, licorice and nettle are part of the formula’s approach to moisture and pore appearance.
Vitamin E: Provides antioxidant and skin-conditioning support within the moisturizer.

How to use SkinCeuticals Daily Moisture
- Apply once or twice daily to the face, neck and chest.
- In the morning, use after your vitamin C serum and other corrective serums.
- Apply sunscreen as your final morning skincare step. In an evening retinol routine, SkinCeuticals places Daily Moisture after retinol.

Is Daily Moisture designed for oily skin?
Yes. The manufacturer positions it for normal to oily skin, with a lightweight texture and a non-greasy finish.
Will it permanently shrink my pores?
No. It is designed to make pores look less noticeable while hydrating the skin. It cannot permanently change or remove pores.
Does Daily Moisture contain sunscreen?
No SPF protection is claimed for this moisturizer. Apply a separate broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day.
What if my skin is very dry?
