Functionalab Micro Pearl is a creamy facial scrub that uses round bamboo and olive-derived particles to remove surface buildup. Inca inchi oil and shea butter give the formula a more nourishing feel than a plain gritty scrub.
A light touch is the important part. You do not need to press harder to get a better result. If your skin is flushed, irritated or recovering from treatment, skip the exfoliation and tell us what is going on before you add it back.

How to use Functionalab Micro Pearl

Is Micro Pearl a chemical peel?
No. Its main exfoliating action comes from physical particles. That is different from an acid peel or glycolic lotion.
Should I use firm pressure?
No. Gentle pressure is enough. Scrubbing harder can leave skin irritated.
Can I use it if I already use retinol?
Ask us how to fit exfoliation around your retinol. You may not need an additional scrub at all.
Can I use it just before a laser appointment?
Follow the preparation instructions for your treatment. Do not add last-minute exfoliation without checking with us.
