Does hair fall off instantly?
Some hair falls off instantly right after the treatment and some hair takes up to 10 days to fall off. The reason is because most hair follicles have more than one hair and when a beam of light (the laser) passes through the skin disabling the hair follicle, the hair that leaves the epidermis falls off instantly and the hair that is under the epidermis will take from 5 to 10 days to leave the epidermis. How many sessions do I need before I see significant results?
Laser hair removal isn’t a miracle treatment, so one session won’t do much of anything. Martino stresses that it can take six to 10 sessions before you see full results.
“Each and every session you will notice slower growing hair, patches of no hair and thinner, finer hair,” explains Martino. “Eventually, all your hair will be permanently removed.”

What are the risks?
“The biggest risk with lasers is eye damage,” Lee explains. “Both you and the person operating the laser should be wearing goggles specific to the type of laser that’s being used.” Other risks include blistering, scarring, and burns that can discolor your skin. “It’s normal for there to be some redness and swelling, but if you’re getting burned or blistered, then the technician is using the wrong type of laser for your skin type,” Lee says. I want to remove blonde hair. Is it possible?
