Scar Removal & Keloid Scar Treatment
Scarring can be caused by a number of conditions including acne. If acne spots are “picked” in their active phase they may form scars. Scars can be a result of surgery or cuts and abrasions. In many cases they resolve naturally and fade over a period of time. Keloids usually extend further than the original wound and can appear more raised than scars.
There are a number of treatments that can minimize or remove scars including laser resurfacing, laser rejuvenation as well as injections into the scar or keloid itself.
