Treat Sun Damaged Skin
When you expose your skin heavily to the sun, and in areas such as the face, ears, scalp, neck, upper back and chest it is possible to develop Actinic Keratoses. These are small, scaly or crusty growths that are red but their colours can range from light or dark brown to pink or a combination.
People most at risk are light skinned people with blonde or red hair and light coloured eyes but even dark skinned people who do not protect themselves from the sun are at risk.
There are a number of treatments that can remove Actinic Keratoses including liquid nitrogen and surgery but the most popular these days is the Levulan PDT Therapy using blue and red light.
