The effectiveness of the tattoo removal laser depends on the laser light being absorbed by the tattoo ink. Dark blue, black and red are colors that are relatively easy to treat. Green can be treated by a laser, but it requires a separate laser that is expensive and therefore not widely available. Other colors such as sky blue, white and pastels can be difficult or impossible to get rid of.
