Laser Tattoo Removal

Tattoo Removal Treatments

Tattooing is an art that dates back at least 5000 years. Whilst Tattooing is popular, many studies have shown that at least 50% of those people that have tattoos would like to remove them. Many others that appreciate tattoos and have many tattoos are tired of their old tattoos and would like to perhaps acquire new ones.

Tattoos have been much easier to put on than to take off. Tattoos have been removed in the past by surgery, abrasives and so on. All these treatments leave significant scars. The best form of treatment for Tattoos is Laser. The current laser technology is so advanced that there is a 95% chance that your tattoo will be removed scar free.

For many years Tattoos have been removed using the Medlite Laser series and almost always followed by the Q switched Ruby Laser.

This Clinic is the first clinic in Western Canada to possess the Medlite C6 laser that can remove all colours of ink in one laser. It can tackle 4 wavelengths in the same laser. Green and yellow inks can be removed but may take a longer time to do so.

Newer tattoos and professional tattoos take longer to remove.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments depends upon the size and colour of tattoo as well as age and whether it was professional or amateur. In general, you may need anywhere from 3 to 6 treatments spaced about a month apart. We use local anesthetic to avoid discomfort during the procedure and will give you instructions on aftercare.

How much will I have to invest in this Treatment?

Prices depend upon size, colour and age of tattoo. We provide a consultation to assess your Tattoo and can give you a better estimate at that time. Call our office to schedule your free assessment.
