Varicose Vein Removal Treatments
We offer a full range of treatment options (excluding surgery) for the management of varicose and spider veins including surface sclerotherapy and ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy. We also have several lasers for treating smaller spider veins of the face, neck and other areas.
Often vein removal requires often a combination of treatments from sclerotherapy to laser. We offer full service treatments with assessment using Ultrasound. Using Ultrasound we are able to map exacty where the problem areas present and the exact anatomy of the veins in the legs. This anatomy varies from person to person. It needs to documented exactly and then treated to provide you with great results for your vein removal treatment.
Varicose veins that are deeper are treated with Ultrasound guided Sclerotherapy and some superficial veins may also be treated with sclerotherapy. Spider veins may be treated with sclerotherapy and lasers. The main aim of any vein removal treatments is to find the offending vein and remove that prior to treating the unsightly spider veins that may remain after the main problem vein has been treated.
Lasers used to treat spider veins are generally performed as single treatments but may require more than one treatment in order to remove the spider vein.
Vein treatments also require the use of stockings for leg health to prevent and help further problem veins.
